Your privacy and personal data (PDPA)

We handle your personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and its 2024 amendments. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, company, address, email address and phone number
  • Billing records: invoices and payment history. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Support tickets: your messages and any files you attach
  • Technical data: server logs, such as IP addresses and login times, which we use to keep our services secure
  • Website analytics: if you accept optional cookies on paduhost.com, Google Analytics measures how visitors use the site. See our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

To provide and bill for your services, answer your support requests, keep your account secure, meet our legal obligations and send you important notices about your services. We only send marketing emails if you've signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct data that's wrong or out of date
  • withdraw your consent to marketing at any time

Most details can be updated yourself in the Client Area. See Updating your account details and email address. For anything else, email privacy@paduhost.com.

Where your data is stored

Your hosting account is stored in the location you chose: Malaysia or Singapore. Our Client Area and billing records are stored with our service providers, who protect them under agreements with us.

Your own website's visitors

If your website collects personal data from your visitors, such as contact form entries or customer orders, you're responsible for that data under the PDPA. We store it on your behalf as your hosting provider.
