You can upload your website with File Manager in your browser or with an FTP program. If you're building a new WordPress website, you don't need to upload anything. See Installing WordPress with Softaculous instead.
Each domain on your account has its own folder. Upload your website files to that domain's public_html folder:
domains/yourdomain.com/public_html
Your home page must be called index.html or index.php. New accounts come with a placeholder index.html, so delete or replace it when you upload your own website.
Best for small websites or a few files at a time.
domains, then your domain, then public_html.Tip: for a website with many files, compress it into a single .zip file on your computer and upload that instead. Then right-click the .zip file in File Manager, choose Extract and delete the .zip file afterwards. Make sure your files end up directly inside public_html, not in a subfolder.
Best for large websites or if you update your files often. We recommend FileZilla, which is free for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Need to give someone else FTP access, such as your web designer? On Rise and Roar, create a separate FTP account for them in DirectAdmin under Account Manager > FTP Management. Extra FTP accounts log in with their full username, for example designer@yourdomain.com.
Visit your domain in a browser. If you still see the placeholder page, clear your browser cache and check that your home page file is directly inside public_html. If your domain doesn't point to PaduHost yet, see Previewing your website before your domain points to us.
