Why did I receive a domain verification email?

Domain registration rules require the registrant's email address to be verified. You'll receive a verification email when:

  • you register a new domain
  • you transfer a domain to us
  • you change the registrant's email address or other contact details

The email comes from our domain registration partner, so it may not mention PaduHost. It asks you to click a link to confirm your email address.

Please verify within 15 days

If the email address isn't verified within 15 days, the domain is suspended and your website and email stop working until you verify it. Once an email address has been verified, you won't usually be asked again for other domains using the same address.

Haven't received it?

  1. Check your spam, junk or promotions folder.
  2. Check that the registrant email address on the domain is correct. See Updating your domain's registrant contact details.
  3. Open a Technical Support ticket and we'll resend it.

Domain already suspended?

Click the link in the verification email or ask us to resend it. Your domain is reactivated once it's verified, although it can take a few hours for your website and email to work again everywhere.

Is the email genuine?

A genuine verification email only asks you to click a link to confirm your email address. It never asks for a password or a payment. If you're unsure, don't click the link. Open a support ticket and we'll check it for you.
