How lifetime plans work

Our lifetime plans let you pay once for your hosting, with no monthly or annual renewal invoices.

What "lifetime" means

A lifetime plan is paid once for the operational life of the plan, not the life of the account holder. Your hosting stays active with no further hosting fees for as long as we offer the plan. It isn't tied to a particular server: if we move your account to new hardware, your plan moves with it.

If a lifetime plan is ever retired

If we ever have to retire a lifetime plan entirely, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice and help you move your website free of charge. We'll also refund part of your original payment, worked out pro rata over a three-year service life.

What's included

  • The same features and limits as the monthly and annual versions of your plan.
  • The same support, security and 99.9% uptime commitment as every other plan.
  • Our 14-day money-back guarantee, if it's your first hosting order.

What's not included

  • Domain names. Domains are registered by the year and renew at our normal price.
  • The free .com domain, which is only for Rise and Roar on the 12-month term.
  • Extra services you add later, which are billed separately.

Good to know

  • Lifetime plans can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. After that, they're not refundable on request.
  • Our acceptable use and fair usage policies apply to lifetime plans in the same way as to every other plan. Lifetime plans closed for breaking them aren't refunded.
  • You can upgrade to a higher lifetime plan yourself and pay the difference between the two lifetime prices. See Upgrading or downgrading your hosting plan.
  • Lifetime plans can't be downgraded or switched to monthly or annual billing.
  • To cancel a lifetime plan, open a Billing ticket.
