You can move to a bigger or smaller Web Hosting plan at any time from the Client Area. Your website, email and settings stay as they are. Only your plan's limits and price change.
How to change your plan
- Log in to the Client Area and go to Services.
- Click Manage beside your hosting plan.
- Open Actions and choose the option to change your package.
- Select your new plan, check the price and confirm.
Upgrading
- You only pay the difference for the rest of your current billing period (pro-rata).
- Your new limits apply as soon as the upgrade invoice is paid.
- From your next renewal, you're billed at the new plan's price.
Downgrading
- Before you downgrade, check that your usage fits within the smaller plan's limits, such as disk space and the number of websites and email accounts. You can see your usage in DirectAdmin.
- Any unused amount from your current plan is added to your account as credit and used towards your future invoices.
- From your next renewal, you're billed at the new plan's price.
Lifetime plans
You can upgrade a lifetime plan to a higher lifetime plan yourself, for example from Spark to Rise, using the steps above. You pay the difference between the two lifetime prices. Your plan stays lifetime.
Lifetime plans can't be downgraded or switched to monthly or annual billing.
Changing your plan doesn't change your server location. To move between Malaysia and Singapore, see Choosing between Malaysia and Singapore hosting.
